Citizen Engagement Solution for Public Safety Yields Incredible Response Rates and Satisfaction Scores in 2020

The service, from technology company, CueHit, Inc. allows departments to automatically survey citizens after interactions with 9-1-1, Law Enforcement, EMS and Fire personnel.

January 7, 2021 (cuehit.com) - CueHit, Inc today announced that in the 4th quarter of 2020, public safety agencies using their Community Engagement Platform achieved exceptional response rates for surveys and amazing positive satisfaction scores.  “It is our belief that the majority of community members that actually interact with first responders have a positive experience”, said Scott MacDonald, Co-Founder of CueHit. “They just don’t have an easy way to report that. Until now.”

Introduced in late 2020, the CueHit platform sends automatic satisfaction surveys via text message to 9-1-1 callers, witnesses, patients, and others who have recently engaged Public Safety services: usually 12 to 24 hours after the interaction, and for non-life critical types of incidents.

In their first 3 months of use, the early adopter agencies saw a greater than 54% Response Rate from surveys and an average Positive Satisfaction Score above 92%. “We attribute the really high response rates to the fact that the simple survey is delivered and answered within a text message conversation”, explained MacDonald. “I know that if I don’t have to open a web browser or download a form, I am much more likely to take 30 seconds to give feedback. We attribute the really high positive satisfaction scores to the professionalism and dedication of the agencies’ first responders.”

With CueHit, Departments now have immediate access to the satisfaction level of its citizens, can take corrective action on possible problems, and share the positive feedback from the community with their teams to help staff morale and wellness.

CueHit is now available nationwide and reads from existing systems like Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management and Patient Care systems to automate processes for public safety agencies.
